Karen Millen sizing - help

I’ve lost weight and am now a comfortable size 16 which I haven’t been since I was about 16.

I have a posh themed party this new year and have found a fantastic Karen Millen size 16 dress on Vinted.

Does anyone know if the brand runs small? I have time to get down a size!

Does the seller have pictures of it with a tape measure across bust/waist?

I've heard people say they run small but I bought a skirt and top from KM recently and didn't feel like the ran small. If anything the skirt was a little big.

The dresses are normally fitted, if it's got a zip up the back then it will be true to size rather than any stretch room.

Ask for the measurements, back in the day they came up small. I don't think a modern day 16 would get into one.

No, I was a 24 so am delighted to be an M&S 16! If I keep up with my no-wine-but-lots-of-moving regime maybe I’ll be a 14by the party. Which would be a reason to buy a lovely dress

I buy a lot of Karen Millen and I find the sizing to be really small. I am usually a 10/12 and need to get a 14 in KM

I agree on small sizing, especially if its vintage...

They come up small. Well rather they are usually fitted with no stretch. If you’re confident being a 14 by the event then I’d definitely go ahead and buy it.

I find KM comes up small. Particularly on top if you have boobs. Defo get measurements

Thanks all. The seller’s other items are all 10-12, so that makes sense. I can get to a 14, but I’ve not been a 12 in living memory!

I find them very small, and they aren't cut for boobs or hips. They seem to be cut for quite "model" type figures of whatever size
