Perfumistas, I need your help!

I'm looking for a fragrance that smells like a warm hug – snuggly, comforting, reassuring...

I tend to like cashmere scents, clean, creamy and woody, and spicy vanillas over sweet ones. Smelling like food is a personal no-no!

Staying power is pretty important to me – I don't want anything that smacks everyone in the face as you walk by, but I also don't want to be re-applying constantly.

I'm just getting into perfumes and haven't quite nailed the lingo, nor do I have very good knowledge of perfumes to reference, so I went on a mission to find what I'm after the other day and came out with a terrible headache after smelling too many options...

Can anyone direct me to a few options I can focus on, or things I can tell the sales assistant: something like X?

I am a convert to Liberty perfumes, some amazing ones.

BDK Gris Charnel and Le Labo The Matcha smell like warm hugs to me

My ultimate comforting hug is Chanel Coco, the original. It's the only fragrance that I have matching body lotion for so that I can smell it all day, I adore it.
I love citrus and chypre types in summer but I get excited for autumn so I can get the Coco out.
