Help me find a Moisturiser!!

I'm 55 with combination skin.

My current moisturiser (Weleda Skin Food Light) has almost run out.

I love the spa type fragrance of Weleda and the fact that it doesn't feel too heavy on my skin.

Any recommendations?

Budget...up to £30.

What don’t you like about the Weleda one?

MonkeyTennis34 · 16/09/2024 08:23

@TheOGCCL Nothing, I want to try something new.

I always use Cerave

buckeejit · 16/09/2024 08:24

Embryloisse is fab although fragrance free

TheOGCCL · 16/09/2024 08:25

Cerave for me too.

MonkeyTennis34 · 16/09/2024 08:33

Which Cerave moisturiser would you recommend ?
It doesn’t have to have a fragrance…I get that from the Elemis cleansing balm that I use.

I like the one on the pump ,the lotion. When my skin needs something more I use Cerave PM moisturiser.

Facetheory. I use to use Weleda but have migrated over to this brand - all the products I have tried so far have been fantastic

MonkeyTennis34 · 16/09/2024 09:23

@Dailyprocrastinator
Just had a look at their website, products look good.

Can I ask which moisturiser you'd recommend?

I got a mini sized green people vitamin fix 24h cream that I really liked and am going to buy a full sized one when I need more moisturiser.
My skin is dry though rather than combination.
The other moisturiser I really like is Clinique dramatically different- a classic that I always end up going back to after trying different ones

I too just use the big Cerave pump lotion - similar age. I use a rosehip serum at night.

I use Nivea moisturisers - the exact one slightly depends on my mood. Currently using the cellular expert one during the daytime with SPF 30. I also like the anti age spot one and the rose one at night. I also use a peptide serum, retinol serum at night and a vit. C serum in the morning.

Dailyprocrastinator · 16/09/2024 10:35

@MonkeyTennis34
I use their vitamin c cleanser and moisturiser, and the retinol moisturiser a few evening per week. I’ve got a serum too which I use just a few times per week as it’s so strong.
i also have their primer and foundation which I save for special occasions.

The products are really rich so last for AGES. Customer service is really helpful too if you want help. I ordered the wrong shade of foundation and they sent me out a different shade for free.

Cerave, La roche posay is good. So here is my routine with that. Morning:
Using water to wash your face,
Sebamed clear face gel,
Garnier spf
Evening:
La roche posay moisturizer,
Tretinoin (0.1) from skinorac
Sebamed clear facial gel
