Want to treat myself to nice loungewear and PJs, what are the best brands?

All my loungewear/PJs are years old, have been piling for ages and look pretty bad. I want to treat myself to a few nice things and decent quality so no primark etc. Can anyone recommend some nice brands that don’t look frumpy?

I like victoria's secret cotton or modal ones.

Cyberjammies

My sister loves these chelseapeers.com/collections/pyjamas

I love these british-boxers.com/collections/womens-pyjamas

eurochick · 15/09/2024 19:45

Second vote for Cyberjammies.

Squeezetheday · 15/09/2024 19:51

I love Chelsea peers satin ones, they sell them in John Lewis so sometimes you can get them on offer

MrsMagoooo · 15/09/2024 19:52

Hush for pj's, I always ask for a new pair for Christmas.

DYIDIY · 15/09/2024 20:38

Oh I like the look of Chelsea Peers and Cyberjammies. Are they soft and do they wash well? I don’t like stiff pjs if you know what I mean

Yes they are really soft and lovely.

DYIDIY · 15/09/2024 20:39

@MrsMagoooo how os their quality? I heard that their knitwear isn’t worth it. I like their sweatshirt and was considering getting a couple to wear around the house

Yes the Chelsea Peers ones wash really well, they stay really soft and they are so comfortable and nice on your skin. Think some satin ones go a bit static but these don’t!

peanutbuttertoasty · 15/09/2024 20:59

Yawn 💯

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 15/09/2024 22:09

I don’t wear pjs but I recently bought a couple of sets of joggers/sweatshirts/hoodies from M&S for loungewear, and really like them. They were from the clothes bit rather than the nightwear bit so are probably cosier. I got a grey set and a navy set - I wouldn’t wear them out of the house as they’re not my style but they are perfectly presentable if someone pops round unexpectedly.

Xiaoxiong · 15/09/2024 22:14

A houseguest recently left a pair of cyberjammies bottoms behind, too far to post internationally so she told me to keep them. They're absolutely the best pair of PJs I have!!

Pigtailsandall · 15/09/2024 22:22

Chelsea Peers are all polyester, which means you either feel cold/sweaty unless the temperature is just right. I sold mine on vinted, they made me so sweaty by about 4am.

Their Nibs have lovely prints and I have had a pair for few years now, but British boxers that pp mentioned are the best!

user1471453601 · 15/09/2024 22:28

Cyber jammies are just fab. They are 100% cotten, but feel almost Silk like.

My friend, who does my ironing, always comments about how lovely they are.

My sister and a friend who I bought them for, also rave about them.

DYIDIY · 16/09/2024 06:57

Thanks all! Any tips on chelsea peers and cyberjammies styles? They seem to come in dofferent materials, I want the soft ones. I think I will avoid the fake satin and go for 100% cotton or modal only

I don't have any of their knitwear but I have 4 pairs of these pj's in different colours from over the years, they're quite big so size down but the quality is excellent, they all still look new, no shrinking, bobbling or colour fading.

ChanelBoucle · 16/09/2024 07:03

British Boxers. I researched and have worn many brands incl. Hush, cyber jammies and Their Nibs and believe me BB are by far the best. Their brushed cotton feels like heaven and they wash and wear really well - no shrinkage, and generously cut. My favourite things to get into at the end of the day!

TBH I find Primark as good as anywhere. I'm currently wearing a nightdress from last year's nightmare before Christmas Collab. It's still in excellent condition, I've also got a load of pjs from there which are going strong and are years old.

KitsyWitsy · 16/09/2024 09:01

I like White Company nightwear. Usually from the sales rack.
