Cheap but strong candles

I'm done with Yankee, they create so much soot.

I've got a couple of Jo Malone candles as gifts but they're for special occasions

I'm after some long lasting, strong scented candles that don't break the bank.

Not Aldi, not Asda, they're lovely but have no scent throw

DW candles that you get in TK Maxx have a good scent.

Sand and fog. I get them in tkmaxx. They are the best candles I've ever used!

I find Ikea candles to be very well scented, they have a nice range and they are super-cheap,

MrsKnob · 15/09/2024 16:59

Valente candles, same quantity of Jo malone, but a fraction of the price Smile

St Eval

Second Sand & Fog from Homesense/TKMaxx. They are lovely scents and burn well.

OnlyFrench · 15/09/2024 17:12

Another vote for St Eval, their reed diffusers and oils are very good too

Sanguinello · 15/09/2024 17:13

St Eval do a tea light advent calendar so you can find out your favourite scent.

SuePreemly · 15/09/2024 17:17

St Eval are good.
LOVE Sand and Fog from TK Maxx. The Sand & Paws pet friendly ones too.
National Trust shops! Their cotton peer and hydrangea in summer and the frosted lines one smells just like Christmas!

Got a lovely one in Tesco of all places called Library I think. It's a Wax Lyrical one, was under £10 and smells and throws really well. They had an autumn berries one which was also lovely.
