Style subscriptions/clothes boxes

I get a few companies like Lumi and Lookiero that pop up offering a subscription for style advice & clothes. Just wondered if anyone had used any of these and would they recommend it?

Am feeling frumpy and middle aged so it is tempting to see what they’d suggest! But wanted to test out whether people would recommend or not

I've never used them but having looked at their websites what is offered seems to be a dismal selection.

It wouldn't be for me. What do they do with the returns? They're not always put back into circulation. Clothes are probably one of the worst things for being discarded, both at source and once bought by the consumer. The cloth bins opposite my work are emptied weekly and there are always bags left beside them once they're filled. Charity shops either don't accept donations or put bags straight out the back to be disposed of.
