Am I too old for these boots?

Turning 40.

I love them. I have alot of DM boots but all flat/flat platforms.

My style is mostly black. Would probably wear with black tight and black tea dress.

The looming birthday is clouding my judgement

I don't think you're too old for those boots at all. If you love them, wear them.

You're as young as you feel. Wear whatever you like.

40 is nothing, a mere babe. Yes, you can wear them.

I would rock those and I'm early 50s. (Life's short, enjoy the boots)

No not at all and they are gorgeous and they look really comfortable.

I have a few pairs of knee high boots in different colours and I get loads of wear out of mine when the weather starts to turn and I'm 49.

My mum was shopping at a discount outlet with her best friend; she was 38 at the time.

She saw a pair of boots she loved, but as she put them back she said to her mate "I think I'm just too old for these."

Her mate held them aloft and called right across the shop - and it was a BIG shop - "Excuse me! What's the Age Limit for these boots?"

There is never an age limits on boots you love.

I love them, but I have wide calves and I reckon they'd be too narrow. My arms are bigger than the models legs.

No lovely! You're not. You're never too old for anything, and 40 is not even middle aged!
