Clothing like Thought, People Tree and Bibico

I really like the 'ethical' style clothing.

I can be quite boring sometimes so that doesn't bother me.

More casual wear but I have some lovely trousers and sweatshirts from BAM.

I also like Lowie, Ilk & Ernie, and Wild Clouds for brighter bits.

I've just realised that Bibico is the really nice shop I went to in Bath about 20 years ago, and have never been able to remember the name of since.

I had a load of thought stuff (huge discount as knee someone who worked there), wasn’t impressed by the quality except for the coat

Woolovers are great for knitwear basics. Don’t be put off by their rather old fashioned marketing - their jumpers are good quality, made from uk sourced natural fibres and largely made in the uk as well. Their cashmere is really good value.

Which brand did autocucumber correct to "thought stuff"? Was it Toast?

Can I chip in here and revive the discussion @conniefromaccounts? I've been looking at Thought, Community Clothing, Veja and Tom's as a start. I'll be scouring the suggestions above as well. Did you find any gems?

I'd like to know brands for the well endowed lady (@AnnaMagnani ?) and which have physical shops? I would even travel to London a couple of times a year if that's the best option (slim pickings here in the NE). I don't mind Internet shopping once I know a brand and fit but I send more back then I keep which is draining.

I now buy about 1 item a year from Lora Gene - plus stalking their sample sales as they don't just do samples in a size 6.

The customer service is excellent and as most things are made to order, you can have them made to your measurements.
