Do facials really help?

I am trying to improve my skin and making baby steps one at a time. I am considering getting a facial every six weeks but are they worth the hype? Do they actually help your skin or is it just the beauty industry trying to steal my money? I have sensitive skin so reluctant to try anything too harsh.

If they do extractions they can help with congestion but apart from that not really. You can buy most of the products yourself.

I think you would be better of putting that money into a few products that you use consistently and get your own routine going. A facial is a nice treat, but don't expect long term results or anything.

I have a 90 minute facial every 4 weeks. It involves a lot of massage and lymphatic drainage. My skin is good and I feel products sink in and make up sits better because of the facials. I am fastidious about my skin care the rest of the time though.
