What shoes with black opaque tights and mini dress (party).

I think black ankle boots would work but would prefer shoes. Are black suede wedge or block-heel courts my only option? They need to be black as the dress has a lot going on.

I like the idea of ankle boots or maybe a block heel. Do you have to wear opaque tights? Bare legs with a lovely pointy toe heel would be good too

Definitely can’t do bare leg unfortunately. Would prefer black opaques but would consider more sheer black tights if that is not too dated?

They are similar to the other ones recommended but I feel they are too “daytime” rather than evening. I think I’m stuck in my ways though!

So do you actually want to wear heels and are looking for suggestions of higher shoes?

I want to wear shoes ideally with a bit of heel (3 inch max) but would need to be block or wedge as I can’t do kitten/stiletto heels. Appreciate the ideas!

For a mini dress flat pumps a la Twiggy, Jean Shrimpton or even Jackie Kennedy never look dated , with or without opaque, sheer, nude or bare legs.

I think a high heel, and I would include a 7.5 cm as high, and mini dresses, to my eyes, look really dated.

I think I over estimated the heel. Prob could handle no more than 5cm max!
