Are Skims worth it?

I've got a couple of events later in the year where I'll be wearing fitted dresses and need a slip/some shapewear underneath.

One dress is strapless and the other is a narrow halterneck, so I have been looking mainly at the strapless body suits - Skims seem to get great reviews and there are new in box ones on Vinted for around £40 but is it worth it or would an M&S/Next etc version be just as good for less?

Following! Also curious. I’m weary of anything sponsored by kardashians as they don’t necessarily emit quality.

I'd forgotten about the Kardashians owning it - at least buying second hand means they won't directly benefit if I do go with Skims!

Can't say about the body suits but wasn't impressed with the high waist knicks - not that high and not that smoothing and I found something better at Sockshop of all places....

No, I really wasnt impressed with them at all- expensive and uncomfortable for me.

Got a dupe from M&S and it was far superior
