How to stop nipples showing through your top?

I wore a white tight sweater yesterday and all I could see when I looked in the mirror was nipples.

I always wear loose fitting or black tbh so it’s rarely an issue. But now I’ve lost weight I want to wear more fitting tops. I’ve googled it and there’s silicon cups you can place over, but just wondered if anyone used something better?

Fortunately I don't need a bra (32/34c) but I hate the idea of those t-shirt bras. Why should nipples have to be squashed out of sight? Everyone m/f has them.
If you don't like a faint outline of my shape then look the other way!

You're missing that for some people even that sort of bra won't prevent visible nipples

This is a crazy thread. Just buy a padded t shirt bra. It is that simple. Absolutely racks of them in all styles and colours at Primark and M and S last time I checked about a month ago 🤷‍♀️

I was hoping the OP would tell us if they'd tried them or not, that’s all.

How is “normally hidden body part in the West” compared to “normally hidden body part in the West” a false equivalence? Do you know what a false equivalence is?

As it happens, I don’t really want to see a man’s nipples…or feet or bum cheeks or ballsack etc. 99% of the time they’re gross and repulsive.

i knew one woman at university in the 90s who worried about hiding the fact that she had nipples. We all thought she was very odd on the subject. We just wore clothing. Sometimes you could tell we had nipples, sometimes you couldn’t. No one cared.

I still don’t care today. I’ve far too busy to worry about my nipples.

Nobody I know has nipples on show because they wear a bra thick enough that their nipples are completely covered.

Why should they have to? There's no law that nipples must be hidden.

OP - I feel your pain. Everyone saying "just wear a thicker bra" clearly doesn't understand what it's like! I always wear thick padded bras (I've tried all sorts) but when it's cold, they will still show through in certain tops. The only thing that works are the reusable silicone covers.

Of course there is no law, but if you don’t want your nipples to show through your top you can buy bras thick enough that your nipples don’t show. Just saying.

This is not directed at you personally as you are one of many but for the love of Mike, there’s enough of us on here saying moulded / t-shirt bras make no difference and you can still see the shape of our nipples through them.

@bevelino on the other hand padded and moulded cups often stop at a G or H cup so if you're above that then your point is moot... and even if they do a J cup those styles generally don't suit and lack shape so again your point is at best lacking in thought. Just saying...

If you find "absolutely racks of them" in a 30J in either Primark or M&S please come back and share it with us all! 😂 I won't hold my breath though!

Genitals and boobs are both sexualised though. We all have nipples argument that you hear on here constantly is ridiculous because we all have legs and arms and toes but it’s not the same so why try pretending is it. Who are you trying to kid?!

When do you hear a man say “I like big arms and small fingers on a woman”. It’s “I like big boobs or small boobs” is all about the tits!

The same way women don’t put themselves under the knife to get bigger feet, funnily enough they do with their breasts… wonder why they do? Oh that’s right, because they are sexualised whether we like it or not.

People had nipples in the 60s and there was plenty of 'free love' and so on in that era, but no-one felt they needed to hide their nipples under their T-shirts. It seems to be a trend that has come about only recently.

Sorry but that's just the way it is. We all do have nipples just like we all have arms and legs. Stop pretending nipples are anything different just to protect your own inhibitions.

I have one thin strapless bra that used to do this. I placed a large round cotton wool pad in there. The ones you use to take off makeup and it worked for me

Mine are like bullets. I just go with it.

Wear shirts with pockets on the front, put pads in the pockets...

I also don't like my nipples showing (they're like arrows after breastfeeding ) and hate wearing bras... (uncomfortable and no support needed boobs are tiny)

I'm also paranoid my nipples "can't breathe " through ....

So if anyone can recommend some kind of padded crop top....with no support and doesn't contribute to backache
