More seriously, I spotted a pair of flat ballerina/Mary Janes in gold in John Lewis the other day and thought they looked fresh.

OP, there are a lovely pair of block heels, ankle strap, enclosed toe but with cut outs, not describing it very well.

I love a gold shoe! I recently bought these for a posh do and love them. Bit pricey but I had some birthday money to splash

It all makes sense now. I had ro ban myself from watching QVC. Far too many ill-advised orders of stuff I didn’t want or need, but had been effectively hypnotised into being desperate for!
