Scalp acne

Sorry for the neither stylish nor beautiful thread topic, but I've developed what I think is scalp acne. Really itchy head, I can feel little spots and dd had a look and confirmed that they are typical looking spots. I've been using Vosene to wash my hair every other day, and it gives me relief for about 30 minutes then the itching starts again.
Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm not going to be making a GP appointment as it won't be justified in my surgery, so trying to sort it out myself. Any recommendations or advice welcome Flowers

My work colleague had a rash like this which then went down her neck. Apparently it was a rash/ reaction and she was recommended to use anti histamine and a very gentle, natural shampoo/ conditioner.

I would see GP. There are all sorts of things it could be, some of which require a prescription.

Go to the gp. Might need a steroid.

Thanks everyone. I remembered I had an old acquaintance who is a dermatologist, and after describing the issues she said it's more likely to be folliculitis, and recommended a particular shampoo. Hopefully that will do the trick.

I get exactly this! For me it's caused by shampoo, it's been trial and error to find one's I don't react to. Also I find switching shampoos every few washes helps
I've currently got 3 brands on rotation
