Is it me or my lash tech?

So, a couple of weeks ago I decided to treat myself to a full set of classic eyelashes. I've had the most horrendous year with my father dying and then immediately after I had a suspicious lump on my neck which got so large you couldn't see my jawline. I had no confidence for months and hid at home. I always said once it's gone I'm going to get my eyelashes and nails done.

4 days after I had them done I had to book a mini Infill because I had lost a few lashes, I guessed it could just be a lash shedding cycle. I go back a week later to have my infills, this time adding hybrids.

I felt AMAZING for an entire 24 hours, then one by one they started to drop off at random. I didn't get them wet until the 3rd day, I wore goggles when I showered (yes, that's a thing) & combed them regularly.

I had this done on Friday and already they look like they are 2 weeks old, I've contacted the salon explaining and asking what I'm doing wrong as I followed all the aftercare instructions. They haven't responded to me.

It's cost me a lot of money & I thought eyelashes were meant to last a good 2-3 weeks before needing infills not after 4 days.

Is it me or my lash tech? Please advise on what I should do/expect from the salon. Thank you in advance!

They just don’t work for some people, sadly I am one of them! It’s nothing that you or beauty therapist have/ haven’t done, or at least it wasn’t in my experience.

Was the lash tech someone recommended?

Do you use lots of face products?

You said combing them, my aftercare is just cleaning them with baby shampoo and washing off with water.

You sound like me.

Anything from lash extensions, acrylic nails, hair extensions...they all fall off/out in hours.

I've tried them all once or twice, have gone to different salons, but, no.

I have very oily skin and that's what it's been put down to. But, thank you oily skin because I have no wrinkles 😊

I messaged them 4 days ago, since then all the lashes have just dropped off as if they had just used prit-stick to glue them on.

If lashes aren't for me that's fine, but ignoring a customer who has asked for advice & help isn't exactly good for the business surely?

For all they know I could be social influencer with over 50K followers, lucky for them I'm not, I have about 5 followers.
