I’m pretty rubbish at buying clothes so end up looking rubbish. I had a colour analysis which says I’m a cool summer. Unfortunately, the colours are not what I’ve ever bought - I’m definitely more attracted to autumn colours.
I’m thinking of booking an appointment with a stylist at Next but am a bit concerned that I’ll be persuaded to buy clothes I’ll not wear.
However it could be that I love the suggestions.
Anyone used such a service, is there a minimum spend?
I’m fed up of looking a scruff bag but need help.

Ive done the personal shopper thing at John Lewis a few times and been very happy with it. You do need to choose a stylist who seems like they will be your sort of person (ie, as a 50 something I wouldn't choose the young fashionista) and be clear about what you are looking for - no point them bringing you formal coats if you will never wear them.
IME, no pressure at all to buy and its been a laugh and so much easier to sit in a nice changing room and drink coffee while someone else goes and searches for things
