Apologies if this is covered elsewhere - I've found this place: tretinoinskincare.co.uk/products/tretinoin-creams/tretiheal-tretinoin-cream-0-05-52473064

Does anyone know if they are legit? I thought you couldn't buy without a prescription..?

It seems too good to be true but if it is legit it's going to save me a LOT

I thought it was prescription only in the UK. 0.05% is quite high unless you've worked your way up to that via a company like skin+Me or dermatica. I wouldn't start at that strength even sandwiched between moisturisers it would probably result in a compromised skin barrier.
I use skin+Me it took me a out a year to get to 0.03% and I started to get redness and flaking so I lowered my prescription to 0.027 then to 0.024 which I've stayed at fir nearly 2 years now.

I found this article interesting

Here's a link for a month's trial if skin+Me just £3.50p&p if anyone's it interested

I currently use 0.025 and I'm looking ahead for the next time I need to buy - I was just surprised that somewhere in the UK is selling it without prescription...

They do 0.025 too, I just found it: tretinoinskincare.co.uk/products/tretinoin-creams/tretiheal-tretinoin-cream-0-025-52428433

It's dodgy as anything. No physical address, no legal details that mean anything. Only contact number is a mobile phone. Refund policy non-compliant with UK distance selling regs. And you already know that they're selling prescription / pharmacy medications illegally.
I wouldn't touch with a barge pole!

I thought so... Wishful thinking I guess 😂

These firms get it from abroad, India, Spain etc. Apart from the paying process which can be dodgy,I would be wondering if I were receiving the real thing. I know many on here do this and are satisfied with what they get, but I am wary.
Subscriptions to Dermatica and Skin and Me seem expensive but at least they’re legitimate. You have to go through a consultation process and once approved, every three months they will checkup on you and you have to submit photos and answer questions.

I buy mine from here and have now used them 3 times with no issue, cost around £25-28 a tube but they have been fine very quick delivery too

UmberMoose · 13/08/2025 13:08

Mine takes around £2-3ish per tube of 20gms and its good
