Perfume that lasts and actually smells

I think the only perfume I have ever had that lasts is Joe Malone Sea Salt and Wood Sage, and I am not keen on the smell. It smells a bit soapy to me.

Anyway what perfume does last?

These are the 3 I've found last. Eternity is also not bad.

TCP seems to just last and last and last, and whilst it doesn't have a fancy bottle it is damned cheap 'relatively speaking'.

And, AND I might add, great for keeping away ants. 🐜

I find body lotion lasts far, far longer than anything I spray on.

But for sprays, agree that Diptyque does really well, and Penhaligons (never tried Halfeti but several others).

I love green tea but you need the right one. Elizabeth Arden disappears immediately but Bulgari really lasts. Bulgari fragrances are long lasting in general .

I've smelt Coco Mademoiselle on tops that I've laundered. It really has staying power. The best of my 15 perfumes.

Frederic Malle Portrait of a Lady lasts for days. I can still smell it on scarves weeks later!

Calvin Klein Obsession lasts.

I used to have a scent called Mitsouko. Was strange but weirdly nice.

Edit to say I now prefer lighter lemony fragrances but they don't last!

@Isometimeswonder ha- I love Mitsouko in winter- my H says it smells like polished church pews or church incense- I know what he means!!

I didn't know it still existed! Would love to snell it again, where do you buy it?

Last time I bought it was online from All Beauty- they have lots of those older scents that you don't see in Boots- samsara was another favourite I got from there

My granddaughters got hold of an old bottle of Poison I had, sprayed each other. I could smell it on my bedroom carpet, doing exercises, my coverlet, duvet for days. That's strong 😅

Daughter in laws Alien and Good Girl really stick around.

Eau de Lutens by Serge Lutens lasts well. Actually all Serge Lutens perfumes do. Spendy but worth it.
