Where are my clothes?! What is my style? Dark academia/professional/smart and vintage? Help please.

Not too sure how to describe, but basically I am pretty much an hourglass/slight pear (37-25- 39), 5'4" in my 50s (brunette) and have a professional job. I love vintage clothes but have struggled recently to find much that isn't a bit 'meh' (Vinted isn't what it used to be!).

I mainly wear skirts and blouses with jackets and heels. Not boxy 80s, more fitted 50s. Loved how Keeley Hawes was dressed in The Durrells. Love the Oxford look (not student so much)

So I am not really sure what my style is or where to find my clothes. Skirts all seem to be too long or too short and either too tight at the hips or too loose at the waist. Knee length or just above knee length seems to be best. Trousers don't suit me all that much.

I love autumnal colours.

I don't have the budget for high end.

Anyone know where I can buy and what?

Thank you

Could your style be Romantic Academia. If you like vintage try 80s skirts midi length which would accentuate your lovely small waist . Do you ever wear dresses ? I know the fashion is very baggy at the moment but I add a belt to mine which improves the look.

Are you managing to use the filters on Vinted so look for wool, plaid , corduroy, tweed and colours of burgundy, brown, green . I buy the majority of my clothes from charity shops and Vinted as my budget is also limited . I found a St Michael 100% wool plaid full skirt yesterday for £5 !
