Grenson boots super tight!

I was looking for a pair of boots for Autumn, and saw Grenson boots recommended on here. I bought a pair of their Milly boots in the sale, but they were still £150 which is a lot for me to spend on boots. When they arrived, the looked lovely, but were so skinny on the ankle, I could barely get them on! I am a size 14. Has anyone else had this? Gonna return them.

I also bought a pair of Greens boots in the sale, but mine are lace-up, so there's room for to adjustment I ordered two pairs, the have-ups and a pair of men's Chelsea boots, and kept the pair with the best fit. The leather is stiff and will take a lot of breaking in, but that's not a bad thing for a boot I'm hoping will last a long time.

Oh, I returned the other pair and it was genuinely the easiest return I've ever done.
