All the raincoats I've seen are made from polyester, of course that meets the waterproof requirement but are there other fabric options available? Secondly, does one just have to accept that one will get sweaty in a raincoat due to a lack of breathability? I mean a raincoat for throwing on when going out on rainy days, not for outdoor pursuits like hiking and trekking that can require specialised fabrics.
