White Fox hoodies - sizing?

PretendYourNameisKeith · 07/09/2024 08:51

These overpriced, crappy looking hoodies are on teen DD's birthday list. She's never shown any interest in brands before but something sensibly priced and 100% cotton is not going to cut it, clearly.

Any tips on sizing, those of you who have bought one?

Try Saramart.

DD12 had a size xs

PretendYourNameisKeith · 07/09/2024 09:09

Thanks! Never heard of Saramart but it looks kind of dodgy.

They are very big my daughter wears a small but she's 18 so I'd go for xs

longdistanceclaraclara · 07/09/2024 09:12

My daughters are 12 and have medium, it's about being oversized

hby9628 · 07/09/2024 09:15

My 13yo is in a medium

To be fair they sound crappy but they are decent quality. The T-shirts & cycling shorts are too. She has some cream cycling shorts & they are thick enough that they aren't see through at all. They have deals quite regularly although delivery can be a bit slow.

stanleypops66 · 07/09/2024 09:17

They come up big. My dd is tall and bought a small and it was massive. We then got an xs and it's still baggy, but fine.

familyissues12345 · 07/09/2024 09:26

My son recently bought his GF one - she's tall and a size 6-8 and he bought her a small because she wanted it to be oversized.

I was another sceptical one, but apparently they wash really well!

MackintoshGalore · 07/09/2024 09:26

Size 10, and a medium hoodie is quite baggy. So would say size 10 is probably a small?

MyStylish40s · 07/09/2024 09:35

They are huge.

My teen dd is a size 8, and she wears XS-S, and it’s still pretty big on her. I’d imagine that S/M would be far too big.

Hope that helps

Fluffycloudsfloatinginthesky · 07/09/2024 09:49

My dd is 13 and wears medium so it's oversized. Quality is pretty good, we have had it since xmas. She has the volcanic one I think.

Word of warning: I think they are issues with returns from the Christmas time thread I was on so better to err on side of caution with sizing.

There was also comments about one version being poorer quality but cannot remember.

I ordered Black Friday last year - think it was about 40% discount, I got fairly quick but a lot of people it was very delayed - but they were the must have item at that moment so I guess demand was high.

Thanks everyone - super helpful!

DD is a size 6-8 UK and she wears the smallest size hoodie in White Fox xxs/xs. It's still very baggy.

She tried one size up initially but the shoulders were way too big and we had to return.

The quality is good tbh but I won't ever buy from them again. Returning was a long, costly and laborious process and left me feeling ripped off and out of pocket.

And their email comms regarding my refund with the 'hi babes' and all that shit was just infuriating.

OneFastDuck · 07/09/2024 10:50

They are massive. Also don't pay full price, they're always doing deals. Earlier this week they had 50% off everything.

This! Just bought my DD one from here, it's really nice quality and looks completely genuine.
Bought XS and she is normally in age 11-12 clothes, it is oversized but not ridiculous.

Older DD has a genuine white fox one (Christmas present), in a S - she is usually a UK6-8

"Hi babes" - I feel irritated on your behalf! I'd be thinking, that's Dear Mrs X to you!

Anyway, thanks everyone- good to know they come up massive. Although she does want it baggy.

My daughter is a size 4/6 and wears the smallest size which is baggy on her. I have a sara mart one for myself they look identical but I do notice a difference in the quality after being washed a few times.

BankHolidayReset · 07/09/2024 16:44

I emailed my DD's size to White Fox and they replied in 24 hours with a size suggestion. They are oversized. I suggest you register with them and they offer discounts all the time.

Idontjetwashthefucker · 07/09/2024 16:46

I have a medium and it's just right, and I'm a couple of stone overweight. The quality is good and it washes well, I got mine when I went to Aus so I don't know if the quality is the same here

Thanks! Never heard of Saramart but it looks kind of dodgy.

It's a replica site.
You'd pay a fraction of the price DD got 4 hoodies and a cute short set for about £65
