winter everyday chelsea boots (not Blundstones!)

I need a pair of boots for everyday wear. I live semi-rurally, so something that's ok walking along a muddy path but also ok to walk the 30-mins into and around town. I got a pair of Blundstones last year, which I love the look of, but they kill my feet and I just find them so uncomfortable. Any recommendations of other similar-look boots I could try? I'd prefer a chelsea type boot so I can just pull them on and off quickly...

I get mine from Clark’s as they last

Schuh ex display have several pairs - obviously a few marks - but ok if they are going to get used and abused rurally? (I live in the sticks so my footwear has to be "hoseable")

There is a brand called barefoot boots that do waterproof but also quite comfortable. I have a pair of their Quebec boots and they are my go to winter boots.

I'm looking for same, but prefer lace ups. I rather like the look of the Birkenstock Jackson, but they are ££ and while I'm happy to pay if they keep my feet dry, are comfortable and last, I won't be if they're not!
Clarks we're my go to for decades but I don't see anything I like atm from them.
Anyone any experience of those?
TIA

do you have a link? Google just brings up various brands of barefoot style shoes/ boots (eg Vivo). I’ve used to only wear barefoot-style shoes but now my feet need a bit more cushioning.

I got some from Ugg and they were so comfy I bought them in two colours. They look like normal Chelsea boots, not like classic uggs, and they are all fluffy on the inside.

Bareback boots!!!!!! Sorry folks!

Dazedandconfusedma · 07/09/2024 15:44

I had a brilliant geox pair - after many years they need replacing. I can find the same pair but they have some nice options

wonderingwhatlifemeans · 07/09/2024 15:44

These are mine. They are expensive but I have had mine for three years now and they are still fab!

I have lovely moshulu ankle boots. Brown on the outside and turquoise lining. I love them!

AllProperTeaIsTheft · 07/09/2024 16:24

I have the same Fly London ones as @poppyzbrite4 and they are lovely and very comfortable.

liveforsummer · 07/09/2024 16:25

Ariat usually do some nice Chelsea's boots that are waterproof

Fancycardi1990 · 07/09/2024 16:30

I got these last winter and am still very happy with them:

John Lewis Primrose

I live rurally and have worn them through muddy paths/ wet grass but would still opt for something longer in the proper mud. They’re smart enought for town too - generally just a good pair of all rounders.

Extra comfy with the sheepskin inside.

I've got 2 pairs of the DM for lined Chelsea boots. They're wonderful.

I came on to say I have Chelsea boots by Fly that are brilliant….couldn’t remember the name though…well done @poppyzbrite4 for finding that link! I’ve had them for years and they still look great. Super comfortable for walking too.

I've had mine for years as well and they look new.

Solovair are comfortable and good quality. I don't have the chelsea boots but have the derby boots and love them.

SpanielPaws · 07/09/2024 17:03

Seconding the Bareback boots. Also Muck boots do a rubberised leather look chelsea boot - I think they're called Liberty and I've got 2 pairs of those. I can wear on a dog walk with jeans and keep them on for work. Seriously comfortable and just run under the tap to clean.
