Stephanie looks pretty there, and the mascots both look adorable as usual.

The less said about Daniel Craig's outfit the better I think. What a look. Hmm

She rewore the jumpsuit just the other day, sans Fred and with the addition of grey suede pumps and a belt.

Is it actually a jumpsuit rather than trousers and top in the same fabric? Because the trouser part has a zip up the middle while the top has a wrap over which end on the right as you look at Mary. I can't work out how you would take it off if it's not separates.

FGSWhatNow · 27/09/2024 23:58

Adding to the chorus of "Wft has happened to Daniel Craig?!?" Confused

AllTangledUpInMyMonkeyNutNecklace · 28/09/2024 00:05

Definitely a jumpsuit - Max Mara.

Close-up photos here.

I'm guessing it has a concealed zip on the side seam.

Some of the rehearsal dinner outfits for 'Princess' Theodora's wedding but apart from Marie-Chantal and Olympia, there's not much to look at.

It doesn't look like any of the first tier royals (for want of a better term!) will attend the ceremony but Queen Sofia is there with Infantas Elena and Cristina and their children, and Princess Benedikte.

The bride today. I like her dress.

Not keen on her dress but that's a stupendous tiara!

RockaLock · 28/09/2024 17:36

That is a stonking tiara!

She looks lovely, glowing and happy, just as a bride should look.

LivelyBlake · 28/09/2024 17:56

I think the dress flatters her figure. It's definitely her style, kind of old fashioned (in a nice way) and feminine.

I like her dress. I did a double take at first at her older brother Phillipos walking her down the aisle, but their father died just over a year ago - I imagine it was an emotional moment for them both.

The (the Khedive tiara) is a very sentimental touch - it was owned by the bride’s maternal grandmother, Queen Ingrid of Denmark (inherited from her mother who had died when Ingrid herself was just ten). Ingrid died back in 2000, but by then her three daughters and now all her granddaughters have worn the tiara and the veil (which again was worn by Ingrid’s mother on her wedding day) for their weddings.

Maireas · 28/09/2024 18:04

Thanks for that detail, @Serenster . That tiara is amazing!

Yes it's a very meaningful tiara in all branches of the Danish family.

Anne-Marie wore it 60 years ago this month when she married Constantine II in the same church.

It looks like the shawl bit is just for the church ceremony and is designed to come off, presumably for the wedding reception.

AllTangledUpInMyMonkeyNutNecklace · 28/09/2024 18:23

I don't think Theodora is wearing Princess Margaret's veil. I'm quite sure it's a different one.

AllTangledUpInMyMonkeyNutNecklace · 28/09/2024 18:28

She's a beautiful bride!

I'm sure it's a bittersweet day, especially for Anne-Marie.

Two of the guests wore the same dress. If I were there I might've picked the same one 😁 as it's a great colour.

Is the blonde one of MC's sisters?

Anne-Marie was escorted by her second son (Nikolas?) who looks very like his late father.

MC's four boys are the epitome of the Mumsnet strapping sons with hollow legs!

Serenster · 28/09/2024 18:35

Here’s a close up of Theodora’s veil today and the veil worn by her Mother. If you look at the edges they look the same - a scalloped edge with little “teeth” then a swirling bit then foliage, with clear lace with small dots/flowers in the middle.

You're right @Serenster, thanks! I was fooled by a bit of the pattern that I didn't recognise. 🙂

AllTangledUpInMyMonkeyNutNecklace · 28/09/2024 18:45

It wouldn't have made sense anyway since her sisters wore it, so I don't know what I was thinking! I'm going to blame the very stressful day I had...

Exquisite tiara. Lovely dress and veil.
