Mules - do they go flying if you’re dancing?!

I need some shoes for a wedding and I’ve been looking at these pretty things from uterque on Vinted, but I’ve never worn a heeled mule, the only backless shoes I’ve got are Birkenstocks… do they stay on or do they kick off if you dance a little vigorously?!

Have you ever worn mules? Some folks just can't. Although my feet are straight, when I try to walk in a mule the heel flips out to the side.

I suspect those wouldn't stay on, there is minimal shoe on your foot without you dislocating yor toes

I find mules impossible to walk in, my feet just slide around all over and I'm constantly adjusting them.
Absolutely useless for doing the conga in.

I never have worn mules! They[ve always mystified me. But slingbacks always give me blisters so I was lured a little by the promise of no heel rubbing... but it seems that would be replaced by other issues! Which is probably why they are for sale...

I love the look of elegant shoes but am terrible at walking in them.
