I saw Hunter Schafer wearing these shoes in a shoot for W Mag and am obsessed with them! It says they are Marc Jacobs but I can't find them anywhere else – does anyone know anything about them?

What are these shoes??

No idea but they remind me of the witch the house fell on!
What would you wear them with?
They look lethal!

That's exactly what I thought when I saw them 😂

Remember, magazines fashion spreads often use samples that aren't available to buy (as yet). Best thing is to keep an eye on both MarcJacobs, com and his IG account as that might give a better insight as to if, and when, these shoes are available to buy.

Alternatively, contact Marc Jacobs press office directly and ask about them.

I love how witchy they are! I’d wear with a really voluminous black dress I think or even jeans and a fancy top to dress them down - I think they’re actually really wearable (but I might be delusional 😂)

Surley they're just ridiculous shoes for photo shoots and not meant to be worn by the general public??

GettingStuffed · 05/09/2024 10:43

I'd imagine they'd make your foot look huge as they can't go up until your toes are in the flat. Secondly they'd catch on everything, or is that just me ?

I did wonder if they could be samples or runway shoes that won’t make it to market… even though I love them I totally get they might not have super wide appeal!

They're from the runway probably not in the shops yet but I'd assume they'll come in soon enough. Scroll down to see them in various colours here.

Thank you!! 🙏

@botemp thank you for the link! I also love the green (although if I ever did splurge on a pair I’d go for black).

not sure about the other shoes from this collection though?!

Normal black or black patent? I'd be inclined to go for patent. The white sandals do feel very runway and a bit of a JW Anderson rip off. I'd be very surprised if those are produced as they just don't seem very walkable or autumn/winter appropriate...

Ohhh good question! I tend to avoid patent but I do kind of love the idea of these in patent as it would emphasise the sculptural quality.
