Hi
Has anyone used Laura Geller?
In particular the baked foundation?
I’m tempted to buy the balance & brighten or balance & glow.
As it’s online though it’s difficult to really know what it’s like.
Is it better than other foundations?
Is it true to colour.
All opinions very welcome.
I don’t use foundation a lot. When I do I use Elizabeth Arden flawless finish. I’ve been using that for years though and not sure if I’m due a change.

My order still hasn't arrived it must be lost, when I tracked it, it says its been at the distribution centre on 31/8/ 24 and its still there, so I emailed LG for a refund which they gave me minus the postage white don't seem fair as I never received them.

Have you tracked it on the royal mail tracker number as well?

I do sometimes have items showing there for a week, and then mysteriously its delivered, without that being updated

Do get back on to LG and ask for the postage back, sometimes I think they havent realised you have paid for P&P as they are just so used to dealing with US customers for which its free

Quick update, it didn't arrive it still at the warehouse in Bury, so I got full refund including postage, they said they are not doing orders to uk at the moment as there is problems, so had to buy from qvc and pay a bit more.

@suki1964 how did you get on did your order come,

First order never arrived, and I got a refund

Next order ( to Northern Ireland ) took just over 2 weeks and was grand

Third order, again just over the two weeks and a foundation compact was smashed. Took photos, went on to online chat and got a full refund and told to keep the product. Which was actually fully usable after I tapped of the broken stuff. Gave it to a friend cos it was too pale for me and she loved it and has ordered for herself

I do love the palette , universal colours, good pigmentation, easily blended

I have two foundations, the double take - which is her version on EL - there is a lot of coverage - and the balance and brighten - Id say its as much coverage as a tinted moisturiser.

But Im 60, Ive have lines and wrinkles and sun spots, but I dont want to be a blank canvas so for me it is really , I'll not say perfect, but it works in as far as I get compliments " you are looking well" . It doesnt irritate my very fragile sensitive skin and I dont need to be a make up artist to apply

So yep I do like it . In so much Im wearing cosmetics near enough daily for the first time since my 20's. I feel confident with the application and finish

Like @circular1985 I use Balance & Brighten over a BB or CC cream as although I love it and have used it for years, it doesn't give enough coverage for me when used alone. I like the finish of it, just right for my combination skin. In my experience you need a good kabuki brush to blend it, but can literally do it without a mirror 😀
