Long chocolate brown boots with heel

Last year I wanted to invest in a pair of long, leather or suede, chocolate brown boots, but couldn’t find any. I’ve seen a few online, but I’m really fussy about boots!

I’m fussy about the toe. Not too round, not too pointy, and I don’t like it if they are squared off.

The heel. Not kitten, stiletto, block or wooden heel.

I did find the perfect black long boots last year. They are simple, the leather is beautiful and the shape is amazing. They don’t do them in brown 😔

Have a look at DUO. They do 3 lengths and 8 calf-fittings.

They used to have a shop in Bath, so I've probably owned at least 8 pairs of long and short boots over the decades.

Hmmm yes, those Sam Endleman ones are very nice. I think I got a black leather pair from them last year but sent them back as I wanted black, but a bit more practical. However for the brown suede I’m just going gorgeous, so I think they’d work.
