Primer for mature skin

I am in the market for a new primer. Budget around £30.
I am in my early 50s. I'd like my primer to smooth away imperfections, be oil free, make my foundation last longer, and not irritate my eyes.
Would really appreciate some recommendations!
Thanks!

I never used a primer before and was ignorant of its purpose. Anyway, I purchased aloe vera gel a few months ago, due to its many benefits for the skin, including being used a primer. I started to apply the gel to my face first thing in the morning and let it dry before applying foundation. To my amazement, my makeup looked so much better, rather than " melt"
If I apply foundation without applying aloe vera now, I notice the difference. So try aloe vera gel, it's natural, good value for money and has many other benefits.

Real beauty (the Selena Gomez one, think that’s its name) has a lovely one that is reminiscent of Becca

I'm 59 and have used Benefit PoreFessional in the past, which is very good, but recently a friend recommended the Aldi Vitabase moisturising primer. It's apparently a dupe for Bobbi Brown.
It's really good! £4.99, smells of lemon soufflé. Worth a try?

Boots No7 Airbrush primer is very good. First got it in a beauty calendar and now I use it all the time. It’s about £18.

Elf poreless face primer. You’ll get at least two for £30. I don’t wear foundation and it makes a huge difference.
