American Vintage translucent clothes!

Someone recommended Americab Vintage and their beautiful colours here a few weeks ago. I had a look and ordered two tops, one here: https://www.americanvintage-store.com/ie/en/MAS08H22-SPLAVIN.html

The shades I got are so nice, incredibly comfortable but they are see-through, I mean you can see my belly button, a freckle etc as well as bra! Have others found a solution? I assume a similar coloured vest underneath but will it ruin the look?

Have had exactly the same problem. Also find their clothes wash very badly.

Honestly - that does look transparent in the photo! And I’d translate ‘can be worn directly against the skin’ as meaning it’s a layering piece - so ideally needs things either under or over. For autumn try a shirt + maybe a knitted tank over it.

Ok thank you. So do I keep if I wouldn't put something over it? You think a best underneath would work for wearing it on top? Nude vest doesn't work but maybe same colour.

I think it would look nice as a layer underneath a shirt/lower neck jumper. If I was wearing something underneath I’d be tempted to go for a bright/clashing colour. Like hot pink. To make a feature of it being translucent , rather than try and hide it by wearing a nude colour vest or something.
