Help me find a comfy bra!

Since I hit my late 40s, my boobs seem to have spread! I'm a 34FF and now all my bras are really uncomfortable and rub round the rib cage and cause blisters. Underwiring has become painful! Because of having large boobs, I do need support - and ideally I'd like something that isn't absolutely hideous. However, right now, just something comfortable would be great! Does anyone have any suggestions?

I have a few non-wire bras from Asda. I find wire bras so uncomfortable now and live in non-wire or sports bras.

What about something like this? They don't have 34FF but they do have 36F which may be better if your current bras are rubbing. They looks quite supportive.

My DD is 34G and has great success with Freya underwire T-shit bra. We went to bravissimo and they were super helpful (don’t know if that’s an option for you?)

There isn't one in my home town but I think there's one in Oxford, which isn't too far away. Hmmmmm, maybe that's what I need to do. I am a skinflint when it comes to underwear (as nobody sees it but me!) but I think I do need to splash out for the sake of not having sore boobs!

36 just pulls up at the back on me. I am nearer 32. In fact no bras seem to fit me any more, gah!

If it's hard to get to a bravissimo, you could try the online measurement tool by Boob or Bust. I have found it produces pretty much the same size suggestion as bravissimo staff.

One thing bravissimo staff suggested to me that sounded mad (for my older, bottom heavy, post-bf large boobs) but has been wonderful is to try a plunge style.

Once we got her measured we’ve bought her subsequent bras and bikinis here https://www.brastop.com/search?q=freya&options%5Bprefix%5D=last
(She’s only 14 in case you are wondering why I’m so involved in her bra buying!)

Wired but Elomi Matilda are my most comfortable bras, I have maybe 8 and can happily sleep in them

I'm also big.

I've always been measured in M&S and buy their underwired bras (approx £22 each).

I went into Primark with my teenage daughter recently and saw some non-underwired (three for £16).

I bought a pack and they are so soft and also very supportive.

My back is very broad and I can struggle to find any that are 100% comfortable (even in M&S).

I've also bought a pack of bra extenders which have made some of my older bras much more comfortable!

Sinilar size and was really struggling until I was measured at Bravissimo and got Fantasie illusion bras, they are expensive but worth every penny and suddenly all the pain is gone!

Doreen Triumph bras may have been around forever. But there's a very good reason for that.
