Which footwear to wear in Autumn and Winter with wide leg jeans?

I've just got into wearing wide leg jeans instead of skinny jeans and am totally unsure what winter footwear to wear with them.

Do I just wear trainers? Short uggs underneath?

Clogs, I love a clog!

I struggled with this- I found slimmer and pointed footwear worked best. So for me converse high tops and pointed flats. I wear my wide leg trousers and jeans as long I can without them actually touching the floor. Kitten heel sock boots work well too.
