Argh skincare pilling!! Any tips please?

Hi all,

I’ve recently started using sunscreen every day (late to the party, I know!) I apply my moisturiser first, then the sunscreen.

I use La Roche Posay sensitive riche day moisturiser and Nivea Kids Factor 50 sunscreen (lol). I use the kids one as I ran out of sunscreen and that was the only one in stock, and I don’t want to throw it away and waste it.

I’m wary of changing products as I have really sensitive skin and both these products seem to suit my skin well.

To stop the pilling, I probably should wait longer before applying the sunscreen after the moisturiser! Any other tips gratefully received please!

Maybe dont bother with the moisturiser first. Moisturise at night instead. The suncream will moisturise a fair bit anyway

Yes you could try waiting longer between, I find this hard in the mornings. I use a specific face sunscreen and find these are less prone to pilling. I use Dr Jart tinted sunscreen as then I don’t use any foundation. I like the Nip + Fab one as well. Both of these suit my extremely sensitive skin.

If you like La Roche Posay then they do some good facial sunscreens as well.

Thanks everyone! I’ve just put my sunscreen on without any moisturiser this morning, and it’s much better. I think I’ll just do that from now on, as it seems to work well.
