Suits

I'm just looking for a bit of colour advice.
I'm getting married in November and one of the last jobs is to get suits for dh to be and the children.

I'm not wearing a traditional white dress, I'm wearing dark green, so I've suggested: navy, black, light blue, dark or light grey, taupe or pale pink. I even sent him a photo of a gorgeous grey suit with burnt orange pinstripes and waistcoat because it looked so cute on the little boy in the photo.

He's taking the boys suit shopping next weekend, he said it was too look at colours. I think he's putting it off until as close to the wedding as he can as our youngest is only 7 months, so we'll change a fair amount between then and now. He said the list of colours is too overwhelming and has asked me to pick my favourite 3-5 colours, problem is his and the boys colouring would suit any of them 🤣

So S&B gurus please help, which 3 of the above mentioned colours will look best with a dark green dress?

It wouldn't occur to me to try to match a man's suit to what I was wearing or that when buying a suit that a man has to think whether it suits his colours. A well cuit suit looks good on its own.

Suits in light blue, light pink, taupe, and burnt orange are presumably summer suits in cotton or linen so will look a bit odd if you're getting married in November, so for your husband's suit navy or dark grey or black if he likes black.

For your children, I'm not keen on mini me suits for small boys so if you're husband has a grey or navy suit perhaps this Trotters jacket in grey or navy with grey or navy cotton or chinos trousers?
