I bought this corner unit because I thought my bags would look nice being on display.

bur they’re getting very dusty (I now see the function of the dustbag!). I have alll the dust bags and could just put them back in but wondering if anyone has any better ideas?

Looks nice but they’re dust catchers!

BeaLola · 31/08/2024 14:42

I store mine in large plastic boxes which fit underneath my bag

My bed even !

In the bottom of my wardrobe.

I have a drawer in my fitted wardrobe

bellsbuss · 31/08/2024 15:48

Mine are stored in their cloth protector bags on 2 large shelves

bendmeoverbackwards · 31/08/2024 15:54

Put them back in their dust bags. Doesn’t look as good but at least they’re protected.

Mine are in a glass fronted unit from IKEA.

In a trio of wicker baskets, so air circulation is good. Some sit in their dust bags, others no. I value them, but nothing would stupidly break the bank, so don't have to be ultra careful with them.

In or out of dust bags? Do you have a link to the unit pls?

Flung in a few spare shelves in the wardrobe. Not a labels person so I don't care as long as the zips and the handles are ok.

Supersimkin7 · 31/08/2024 16:14

Put them away clean, that’s the most important. Oil the outsides. Dust is work of moments.

Stuff them with anything (socks, tissue, jumpers) to keep the shape esp with Mulberry.

Doesn’t take very long, new handbag every time.

Thistooshallpass24 · 31/08/2024 19:48

My handbag room has like cubby shelving, some in dust bags some not, stuffed to keep their shape and polished regularly with lord shreatons

WhatNext24 · 31/08/2024 19:50

I don't have many but keep them on shelves in a cupboard. I occasionally clean + polish them but don't keep them stuffed or in bags and they have all lasted very well. But because I only have a few they do all get used regularly.

in dust bags and on shelves behind sliding doors. I LOVE them all lined up smartly ready to be chosen.

HappyGirlNow · 31/08/2024 19:52

I hang mine from a coat stand (this IKEA one)… It is also useful for sitting hats on..
