Does anyone use Boots Online Prescription Skincare?
The Anti-ageing options look good. 75 mg of Aklief cream (the newest Rx retinoid, many find it both gentle and effective, v expensive in America) for £55, and 30 mg of 15% or 20% Rx azelaic acid (Skinoren or Finacea) for £16-20. These prices are very good compared to the subscription services, and I prefer the option to pick up at my local Boots to home delivery.
However. Everything was smooth until checkout, when my bank could not verify the transaction. After much frustration, it was determined that the problem lay with Boots. They have an 800 number that’s been busy for an hour; they don’t put you in a queue. They don’t show email or a chatbox.
How the hell do you communicate with them? Or is falling down on customer service how they save money?
It’s too bad, as Aklief, Skinoren, etc are very high quality skin care options. But I am ready to try something else
