Site like Stitch Fix but where you buy the clothes youself?

Are there any sites out there like stitch fix but without them sending you the clothes? I love clothes but get a bit overwhelmed by the sheer volume of stuff when I'm online shopping and find reading magazines and looking to instagram just makes me feel insecure so I'd love someone (whether real or AI) to give me a load of targeted suggestions so I can just pick the things I like.

I don't quite understand what you mean - would Pinterest be useful for you, or a style blogger ? Or a personal shopper maybe?

There use to be a site called thread.com that was what I mean. You told them what you liked and the AI progressively learned and suggested clothes for you. It was amazing. Then you clicked through and bought the clothes you wanted direct from the shop. So like Stitch Fix- the AI learns your style, but I don't want to be tied into a box arriving every month, I just want you to pick what I want and buy it direct.

Never found a blogger who had my style down so that won't work. Can't afford a stylist.

If you have a John Lewis account or card, they definitely used to have something online where you could set up your style preferences and would get suggestions. I spent ages doing it once (then forgot about it) but I remember it did give me some good ideas for different things to try.

It sounds like what you've described with Thread!

I really hope it's still there, I'm sure I still get emails from John Lewis titled "your style edit" but I never open them...
