Help! Can I fix this with semi permanent dye?

Hello

I stupidly decided I'd be fine bleaching my hair at home. I've done this at various times and always regretted it but after doing it in lockdown and it going really well I thought why not! Big mistake!

Anyway I have now been left with ganolof esq hair which is way too light. Have tried purple shampoo and I know this will take the yellow out but it's too light for me.

Can I put an ash semi permanent on a few shades darker or will this make it worse?

Any suggestions to make it a darker blonde?

Thank you

Ok you need to fill that with a light copper colour.
Yes you'll be bright but only then can you put a mid blonde on it. Do not put anything ashy on that it will go murky greeny.

You could try a light brown with a red tone. 7.3 or 8.3.

Do a strand test first.

Or you can rock it and use purple shampoo to go more platinum but do this in stages.
Bleach London do an amazing shampoo and conditioner.

You said tho it's too light for you.

Thank you so much.

That makes sense as I thought ash colours were greeny so don't want to end up khaki as I've seen that before.

It's definitely too light for me. Even if I use the purple and get platinum.

Unsure of your budget but I’d go to a hairdresser and ask for them to do it. I’ve been there many times with the at home bleach and when you start messing around with more colour it can end up upsetting and the colour not quite working. A hairdresser can make it a darker tone of blonde, good luck !

I have an Idea ! I’m a hairdrssser why don’t u get a reverse balayage where they with do a roots smudge with lowlights and it be more of a lived in natural blonde !! I recenty have just done this myself the reason I bleached it all in one go was better than over hi lighting it to get desired blonde x

I really like this idea! I used to have my hair highlighted or blonde balayage so I guess it's the same just in reverse.

I've put some silvery toner on it for now so it's liveable just bright lol but at least I can be seen in public on my way to the salon!

It's never as easy as we think is it. I go years not doing it myself and then think why not it can't be that hard and then when I do it, I end up in this dilemma again!

I had to walk around for a whole week to get mine sorted !! I wanted it done by someone who knew what they were doing but it’s really lovely now ! Low maintenance blonde brown it looks natural I’m like u I don’t suit very light all over bleach x
