Red lipstick

It seems to me that unless you have really full lips, it's hard to wear opaque red lipstick. Your lips just look thinner.

I wear red lipstick every day, and just have regular lips I think!

I used to think that, but now I don’t care. I wear red lipstick because I like the colour. I look at my face overall and don’t focus on perceived flaws. Now I feel I look good wearing red lipstick and my lips are still thin.

Sadly red lipstick doesn't suit me at all

You definitely need nice full (real) lips to wear red otherwise I agree it makes them look thinner. I would say the same goes with any dark colour

I swear a smudge of matte red lipstick. It wouldn't suit me to wear the full application.

I can wear an orangey red. Yes all lipstickss look great on full lips. Go more shear. If a shade is strong I blot it on and then slick Vaseline over the top.
