Long coat for rugby

I’ve just watched DS play this evening and it was quite cold and it’s only August. I think I need to invest in a long down style coat. I’d not stand out in the rain, if I did it would be under a brolly so coat just needs to be warm. Any suggestions?

PS don’t have massive budget. Anything over £100 and I’m looking at Vinted to be honest.

I have a landsend one that is half way down my calves. It's very warm!

Bought as new on eBay

Sure it was the squall but it was 9 years ago so I think my version may be duck and down.

Looked on EBay some definitely have down insulation rather than synthetic

Lands End are brilliant for this. They do lots of variants of warm and waterproof coats. Sign up for emails now, and they'll send you lots of offers/codes etc

Long, water proof down coat is in their sale, £99.

Thanks I do like that landsend one. I am going to go to our local outlet today. It’s got a couple of outdoor shops so will take a look in there and see what’s available and I will order the landsend one too to compare.

Just be aware that feather & down is much warmer than any synthetic option.
