OK I'm clueless, I'm permanently in trainers, own say 1 slightly dressy pair of shoes that's it. Don't normally wear jewellery or make up but occasionally you have to make an effort. I'm planning on wearing this skirt and corset for the wedding but I'm completely lost beyond that (not even 100% on those so any better suggestions welcome).

All and any suggestions welcome

Is it your wedding or are you a guest?

It's my wedding, very casual affair, outdoors so its keep fingers crossed for dry weather or it'll be a mud bath and we'll be joining the goats in the barn.

OP, are you wearing the corset as outerwear or underwear? Apologies if this is a daft question. Regardless, corsets are like shoes, you need to break them in. You also need to ensure you can sit and eat comfortably in them.

Outerwear, I'm not a stranger to wearing a corset but I'm also aware its possibly not the best choice for a full day as I've only worn as evening wear previously. I will be able to change if it does get too much.

How long’s the skirt? Do you want to wear heels? Would you prefer trainers?
It looks like you have a strong idea of your own style so run with that.
If it’s minimal jewellery and trainers with a dramatic skirt and corset, brilliant! If you fancy heels then do that.
Minimal jewellery and perhaps white heels for the wedding and trainers to change into after the ceremony?

Hair and makeup- you can get a hair dresser to talk this through with you- but honestly, just be you!

GREAT starting choices.

Hair - up or down?
Makeup?
Matching jewellery? I'd go for drop earrings with that.

Then you've got your lovely blue corset.
And your gorgeous tulle skirt.

Stocking or tights? Definitely expensive tan coloured ones, not nude (they come out as white, yuck)

Then heels or flats? I'd go for white ballerina shoes, or maybe gold?

And on your arms a faux fur throw or cardigan.

Congratulations btw x

Not heels, the wedding is pretty much in woodland, in a clearing. I was thinking trainers or boots. I'm slightly worried about white trainers getting very mucky. Hair probably up and short veil. The skirt is calf length I didn't want anything too long. We're not the most conventional couple so there are additional details like jumping the broom happening and I looked but couldn't see myself in a long white dress.
