Dressing gown/ bath robe

I am looking for a really lovely, warm bathrobe. I would like it to be long, and I would like it to have a hood if possible. I want it to feel luxurious, like a hug!
I don't have loads of money, up to £100, maybe a bit more for something really special. Where should I look?

I bought my hubby a 3/4 length one from Debenhams a few years back. Every time he wears it I'm a teeny bit jealous! It's lovely and just like you describe. They will do nicer colours I'm sure

Sorry. Posted too soon. It wa probably around £50.

I used to have a gorgeous one many years ago. It was white chenille, full length with a lovely big hood lined with cotton patterned with cherries. It was really snuggly but because it was chenille and not that awful nylon fleece, it wasn't a bit sweaty. It washed beautifully and I actually had it for so long it wore out.
Never seen anything like it since so no help at all OP sorry.

White Company do the best ones. Long with hoods.

Rina66 · 22/08/2024 04:23

White Company, I've had mine for years, washes well and is proper towelling.

The White Company hydrocotton with hood are lovely

Thingsthatgo · 23/08/2024 11:53

Thanks all. Those ritual ones are exactly the kind of thing I would like (I love the colours), but I would prefer them longer. I am tall, and dressing gowns always feel a bit short and draughty on me! Maybe I'll go for a larger size so I can wrap it around lots.
I shall have a look at the White company. Thank you.

My Dd is 5ft 11.

Shr has the hydroronr pink hooded one from TWC, it’s comes to well below mid calf. She loved it, It has become her dressing gown of doom.

Another vote for the White Company here. I've got one of the hydrocotton robes with a hood and it's wonderful

rivermum · 23/08/2024 16:09

As you are tall, you could try Long Tall Sally.
I got a lovely soft robe last year from them. Full length. A bit like this

LTS don’t make anything in cotton though. Op wanted a cotton one.

rivermum · 23/08/2024 16:59

Oh, sorry, I must have missed the cotton requirement. LTS do have a cotton one, but only in white.
