Years ago Superdrug used to sell this skincare body spray for back/chest acne. It had good ingredients like salicylic acid and worked wonders…then they discontinued it!

I initially started looking for an alternative but I couldn’t find anything, so haven’t used a back spray in a few years. Just wondering if something decent has entered the market since?

I can recommend a soap? Lather it up last thing in the shower and let it sit for a few mins before rinsing (I used a back brush)
It worked when even prescribed stuff didn't

This is expensive and did nothing

Ooo thanks! Will try the soap out

Yep the murad spray is useless! It’s main selling point is just having a bottle you can spray from every angle

I use CeraVe smoothing wash - easy enough to slap over your back and I leave it on while washing / shaving. Makes a difference.

I also use Utan spray on gradual tan - the Jamie one with lavender - on my back and chest as well as face and that helps with breakouts too.

You could get salicylic acid from The Ordinary , and wipe over the area with it washing

@Bignanna thats a really good idea. I was actually thinking of doing this but putting it in a spray bottle so it’s easier to apply

Nip and fab do a spray for "teenage skin" they've got a sale on atm

Superdrug still do a salicylic acid cleansing lotion which is as thin as water, so you could put that into a spray bottle? Assume the old one needed rinsing off so you could do the same in the shower with this lotion.

It’s brilliant, the only thing that sorted the blackheads on my nose that I was convinced I’d take to the grave!!

You could do, but I think it would probably last longer using a cotton pad to wipe over the area. Amazon may sell it cheaper. Just looked and there’s a huge range of salicylic acid products on Amazon.

Thanks, I have actually used these before to get more even legs lol (I get keratosis Pilaris sometimes)

I probably wouldn’t use it for body acne as it would be finicky to apply, it’s also not going to be cost effective

Thanks! The one I used is this, you didn’t need to rinse it off. It’s good because it would get to work overnight etc
