Is this dress ok for an english wedding in Sep?

Hi all,

Not your typical wedding guest dress, but I don't really do long flowery numbers. Just wondering if this one looks ok? I could style it up with statement shoes/bag.

I like the dress and I'm quite easy going about wedding guest attire compared to the average MNer.

But.

It just won't look right at a September Northumberland church wedding. It will look like you had your luggage stolen on the way and had to borrow something or you thought you were going to the hen night and got the dates confused.

I generally applaud dressing to stand out but this just is an odd choice. Buy the dress and wear it to a Halloween party.
