Charlotte Tilbury’s new UNREAL SKIN GLOW TINT for 40yr old skin?

Anyone tried Charlotte Tilbury’s UNREAL SKIN SHEER GLOW TINT? Opinions on 40year old skin? Sienna Miller looks stunning in the new CT ads and she is 40+ but would welcome feedback before I head to a CT stand… or any tips for other light coverage daytime skin products? Thank you!

I wanted to try this. I’m 40. However some of the reviews made it sound like you’ll look like a grease ball. Although I know it’s all depending on skin type etc. I love Lisa Eldridge skin tint on my combination skin. It’s not heavy coverage but it evens everything out.

Thank you, will look into Lisa Eldridge’s skin tint. I like Trinny London BFF which is a subtle glow but it is v v light coverage and I am now after a little more colour

I'm 38 and recently bought it. I wanted to love it as I love the glowy look and was going on holiday but it's really not good. A weird combination of greasy and drying. Clings to any dry skin and small hairs on the face and feels very greasy/hard to blend. Save your money!

DogrosesinMay · 18/08/2024 15:16

@Cloud911 Lisa Eldridge customer service are brilliant and even if you contact her on social media herself she’s very responsive if you want to ask about it first. Ooh that Trinny sounds nice, I’ve never tried any of that brand but I’ve been after a very light coverage one as well.

A friend had it. She's dark with olive skin prone to oiliness. She found it greasy, gave it to me (pale white skin prone to dryness) and I thought it made me look sweaty.

This sounds like a bad advert.

rockstarshoes · 18/08/2024 20:37

I'm 57 & I love it!

Mid 40s here and I like it a lot. It’s sheer and glowy so you need a decent base (skin and primer). Not using currently as tanned from holiday but will go back to it.

I’ve just bought one. Will try tomorrow and report back!

I've got it and don't like it, there's a really in depth review of it on Instagram, wish I'd seen that before I bought it.

For the record, I do really like most of the CT products, so it was disappointing.

I quite like it but I like a glowy/dewy look. Normally don’t like Charlotte Tillbury products either.

I don’t put it all over my face - mainly on cheeks. So I don’t use it for coverage.

Delatron · 22/08/2024 20:49

Oh I’m 48.

That’s such a good review, thank you!
I normally really like ‘glowy’ but the ‘tinman’ comment really resonated 😬

Oh my it is very very shiny. Zero coverage and I have fairly clear, mature 40+ skin. It is literally like applying a sheer gloss to your skin.

I have used a moisturiser underneath but I’m thinking probably a Matt primer may help. I have had to matt it down in certain areas with powder but I had bought it with the hope that it would be a quick and easy replacement to my current foundation and powder.

i will see how it wears today but it’s a no from me. Similiar to the cheaper Elf Halo Glow which I bought and also don’t get on with!!

Delatron · 23/08/2024 09:38

It’s definitely not a foundation stick as described! It doesn’t give coverage. I literally slick it over my cheeks to give a bit of glow.

kindletimeisfinetime · 23/08/2024 10:01

I've just watched it and agree with that review, I have started putting translucent powder over it!!

millymoo1202 · 23/08/2024 10:17

It looks very glowy. I have the ysl skin tint and love it. I’m 52
