this has been my favourite for 20 years or so but it is so hard to get hold of and VAIR expensive. Does anyone know of another perfume which smells similar?

or a decent knock off? Are Essence Vaults any good?

TIA 😊

This is my favourite perfume, too and I ended up emailing Bvlgari to ask. They said 'Au The Noir intense was pretty similar. I've not yet tried this one and looking at their website, it doesn't look like it's there, either. I have tried Perfume Parlour's dupe of Black, it's close, but missing that depth that I find so appealing, and no weird rubbery note.

thanks for replying and for passing that on. it's so lovely isn't it and I just can't find anything like it! I hadn't clocked that it is 'rubber' until I started trying to find an alternative. that makes perfect sense, the smell of rubber was my pregnancy craving!

I will share screenshots of suggestions I have found on other parts of the internet ..

Oh! Meant to add, Diptyque's Volutes has the same sort of vibe as Black. Not quite as distinctive, but it does scratch the itch for me.
