Could I wear this dress to a winter wedding (with a coat obv). I just love how it fits 😊

What’s the dress code? You possibly could if black tie or evening dress have been specified. That being said, it looks quite a lot like underwear and it wouldn’t be my personal choice for a wedding.

Agree with previous poster -looks like lingerie

Sorry but I'd think you got dressed in the dark and put a nightie on.....

Just to add - I’m not necessarily averse to underwear-as-outerwear but this looks like something Joan Collins would have worn in her boudoir in Dynasty. Very 80s.

This would be fine at the weddings I've been to recently and would raise absolutely no eyebrows. Although yes, if a church wedding, coat over for the ceremony.

Aria999 · 17/08/2024 18:58

I wouldn't, as pp said it is a bit like a nightdress.

Also plain black isn't 100% usual for weddings.

For the evening do ? Possibly . But not for a 1pm ceremony at St Cuthberts!

SauviGone · 17/08/2024 19:15

Sorry, it looks like a cheap negligée.
