Help - dress suggestions needed!

Hi helpful ladies!

I'm going to a wedding evening party recently and I'm not looking my best - a mixture of very rapid weight gain and huge lack of sleep. Dh's friends will be there and their wives/partners are lovely but also stunning. I'm doing all the usual stuff to address looking a bit shit (dieting, drinking water, exercising, getting lashes and brows sorted etc etc), but I've no idea how to dress my new (hopefully temporary) so I'd love it if you could hit me with your dress recommendations.

I'm currently pretty fat especially my belly and arse but my legs are still ok - so flattering on the middle but showing a bit of leg.
I hate my arms. They've historically always been my worst part but they're not anymore. So I'm in the habit of wearing 3/4 or batwing sleeves but it's not a necessity.
I best suit cool bright colours if that matters.
I usually try not to look to 'try hard' if that makes sense. I like quite a casual/boho sort of look. In the past I was able to make this work but now not tried to hard looks more like 'hasn't fucking bothered at all'

Anyway if anybody has seen a nice brightly coloured dress, not too fussy and suitable for a fat lass with good legs, I'd be extremely grateful if you could send me the link.

Budget is like more than Shein but less than Reiss!

I'd look at Monsoon. I think there's a sale on. Needs some sifting but have seen bright boho dresses wafting by me on the ads!

I would avoid batwing sleeves and angel sleeves.

Have a look at short dresses on Sister Jane.
