Best mid-price mascara?

I usually use Clinique’s lash primer and black mascara, but I’m paying £25+ for the mascara, and nearly as much for the primer.. I’ll keep buying it if it genuinely is the best for the price, but wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a high street brand that is just as good? I really like the way the primer works (I only ever need one coat of mascara and it never smudges). Mascara wise I’m looking for a fairly solid black, something that lengthens my lashes but doesn’t clump. I have a boots and superdrug locally or could buy online.

I really like L'Oreal Panarama Volume Millions Lashes. No clumping and doesn't budge. I think it was about £12.

I am very loyal to no. 7 mascaras. I look mainly for lengthening, as my eye lashes are pretty decent thickness wise, and they do the trick and don't smudge.

Maybelline sky high

Benefit BadGal Bang (about £20) isn’t bad.

But for ~£10 more I love YSL Lash Clash Extreme Volume.

Avon Lash Genius is a good mid priced one.

I like L’Oréal lash paradise in waterproof or non waterproof.

I do sometimes wonder why I pay as much for some lower priced mascaras which are almost the same as higher priced ones!

Years ago when I wanted a sample of a Lancôme mascara I got some samples free from a couple of London department stores. The size suited my lashes better. No idea if they do it now.

Doesn't flake, great staying power.

I keep seeing people talk about this one! Is it a tubing mascara?

I bought the L’Oréal one as that seems to be the majority.. I also bought their primer, so will see how I go.
(Also.. Superdrug currently have 3 for 2 across all makeup brands if that helps anyone!)

@frockandcrocs I don't think it is technically but it really is excellent. Gives a love fan like effect and lovely long lashes.

I bought the L'Oreal Panarama Volume Millions Lashes in November after the recommendations here but wasn't impressed. It seems very light and thin compared to my previous Maybelline Colossal Mascara.

Bad gal bang is the only mascara I own but it's a nightmare to remove, I assume thats what the bang refers too.

Maybelline and Max Factor have been making mascara for ever, and you can't go wrong with any of theirs imo
