I feel a bit lost on what to wear to work these days.

My workplace is only relatively recently back to the office and I feel like a lot of my pre pandemic work wardrobe is really out of style and a lot of it doesn't fit me anyway.

I am short (5 foot) and I struggle with midi length which I feel makes me look dumpy and is often basically floor length on me.

I was eyeing up this sort of dress - with a jacket does it work for the office or is it too casual?

What sort of thing are you wearing? Where do you shop?

Depends on your office environment really, and what you like to wear. Looking at what others you work with wear might be a good start. I like that dress and I could defo wear that in my office. I favour dresses with jackets as a style for work - the occasional trouser suit in linen too. Recent buys have come from Cos, And Other Stories, Reiss, and Me & Em (less keen on the last one just now though, in case I look like a politician’s wife, lol).
